Ohio State’s last remaining target for the 2021 class finally has his date set for an official visit.
Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic five-star defensive tackle J.T. Tuimoloau is set to visit Ohio State from June 18-20, according to a report by Lettermen Row’s Jeremy Birmingham.
Tuimoloau is ranked as the second-best defensive end and third-best prospect overall in the 2021 class, and had previously listed out his top five schools as Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon, USC and Washington.
The 6-5, 277-pound Tuimoloau has six crystal ball predictions in favor of the Buckeyes, but only one has been predicted within the past year from a lead expert. That was by 247Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins, who predicted Tuimoloau to Ohio State with a “low” confidence level on June 10, 2020.
Two other experts, 247Sports editorial director Kevin Ryan and Cascadia Preps’ Ryland Spencer, predicted Tuimoloau to the Buckeyes on Jan. 19 of this year.
247Sports’ Brandon Huffman has previously reported that Tuimoloau’s plan is to visit each of his top five schools before making a decision.
