McCullough is ranked as the No. 73 overall prospect, eighth-best athlete and top recruit out of the state of Kansas in the 2022 class. He is listed as 6-5 and 215 pounds.
Thus far, McCullough has been recruited by Ohio State head coach Ryan Day and linebackers coach Al Washington, and is being considered an outside linebacker/safety at the next level.
Last month, McCullough and his father, Deland had a virtual visit of the Ohio State campus and facilities. Deland McCullough is the running backs coach for the Kansas City Chiefs after playing at Miami (Ohio) and having previous coaching stints at Miami, Indiana and USC before heading to the NFL in 2018.
McCullough is one of the top linebacker targets for the Buckeyes in the 2022 class, and received an offer from Ohio State on April 21, one of the 41 current Division-I offers that the four-star athlete currently holds.
