Ohio State lost out on a member of the 2024 recruiting class on Saturday, as Toledo Central Catholic three-star offensive lineman Marc Nave (6-5, 315) announced he is decommitting from the Buckeyes.
He is the No. 644 overall prospect and No. 44 interior lineman in his class, and he had initially committed to Ohio State back in March. He holds additional offers from Auburn, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Missouri, Pittsburgh and Purdue, among others.
Nave backing off his pledge leaves Ohio State with just three committed offensive linemen in New Palestine, Ind., four-star Ian Moore (6-5, 295) and four-stars Devontae (6-5, 297) and Deontae Armstrong (6-6, 280) of Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward.
The Buckeyes continue to pursue Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton (6-5, 287), who will take on an increased significance with just three offensive linemen committed.
