Ohio State earned its second commitment in the 2026 class from Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts (6-0, 187) on Saturday.
Hours after the Buckeyes beat Northwestern 31-7 at Wrigley Field, Ricketts decided he wanted to be a Buckeye and pledged his services to wide receivers coach Brian Hartline, who has become the top wide receiver recruiter in the country.
Ricketts doesn’t have a ranking by 247Sports composite, but he had eight other offers, seven of which were from MAC schools, along with one from Illinois.
He joins Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. (6-5, 205), the top player in the 2026 class, as the only two Ohio State commits in the cycle to this point.
