Ohio State’s marquee matchup with No. 3 Penn State has a number of players on each roster who are bound to play at the next level, and that is made evident with 24 NFL scouts representing 16 teams on hand to take in the top-four matchup.
The Washington Commanders have the most scouts taking in the game with four, while the New York Giants are next with three, followed by the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans with two.
10 teams sent just one scout to State College, Pa., including the Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, the Super Bowl winning championship-winning Kansas City Chiefs, the Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans.
The Buckeyes’ game against Penn State features a plethora of future NFL talent. Ohio State has multiple players who are projected to go in the early rounds of next year’s NFL draft this spring, including cornerback Denzel Burke, wideout Emeka Egbuka and defensive lineman Jack Sawyer, J.T. Tuimoloau and Tyleik Williams.
Penn State has a number of pro-ready prospects itself, including quarterback Drew Allar, running backs Kaytron Allen and Nic Singleton, defensive end Abdul Carter and safety Jaylen Reed.
