All of Ohio State’s starters were available for the 38-7 win over Michigan State last week, but defensive tackle Tyleik Williams didn’t play for the second straight week. He was considered day-to-day throughout the week and could return against Iowa at 3:30 p.m.
However, sophomore wide receiver Carnell Tate is listed as questionable for the game against the Hawkeyes today. There are no other starters on the availability report.
Should Tate be out, he could be replaced in the starting lineup by Brandon Inniss or Bryson Rodgers, who have both seen time on the second team. Inniss has rotated in more often for the Buckeyes, and Emeka Egbuka can play in either the slot or set up out wide, so he would be the more likely start with five catches for 63 yards so far this season.
Walk-on running back TC Caffey remains on the injury report, as he will all season with a torn ACL, still joined by both walk-on running back Rashid Sesay and wide receiver Reis Stocksdale, both of whom were also unavailable last week.
Only walk-on freshman linebacker Zach Hayes comes off the availability report after being on it last week.
