Ohio State could potentially be without two key running backs against Purdue on Saturday, as Miyan Williams has been ruled out and TreVeyon Henderson is questionable to play.
Head coach Ryan Day indicated last week that Henderson – who did not play in the win over Maryland – could have played if the team needed him, so it’s unknown if Henderson suffered a setback or if Ohio State is just playing it safe with his injury designation. For Williams, he played last week and did not appear to suffer an injury, so the reason for his absence is unknown.
The Buckeyes will also be without wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, who did not make the trip to West Lafayette, Ind., after suffering a lower-leg injury last against Maryland, and defensive tackle Jaden McKenzie is also questionable for Ohio State.
Ohio State will also be without wide receivers Nolan Baudo, Kyion Grayes and Reis Stocksdale, running back TC Caffey, tight ends Zak Herbstreit and Joe Royer, defensive lineman Will Smith Jr. and linebacker Kourt Williams II.
