Availability Report: Tyleik Williams Out Against Marshall

By September 21, 2024 (9:00 am)October 4th, 2024Football

Though Donovan Jackson was officially listed as available for the Week 2 56-0 win over Western Michigan, he didn’t play at all. He will be making his return in the game against Marshall according to head coach Ryan Day.

But the Buckeyes won’t have all of their starters for the game. Defensive tackle Tyleik Williams is out against the Thundering Herd on Saturday.

Taking his place to start the game could be either Kayden McDonald or Hero Kanu, who have been taking second-team reps at the position in the two blowouts to begin the season.

Walk-on running back TC Caffey remains on the injury report, as he will be all season with a torn ACL, and he is joined by fellow walk-on running back Rashid Sesay, who is on the report for the first time this season.

They are the only three listed as unavailable for the game against the Herd with freshman offensive lineman Devontae Armstrong, redshirt freshman safety Jayden Bonsu and wide receiver Reis Stocksdale each being taken off of the report after being out the first two games.
