The Big Ten announced the conference’s full scheduled on Sept. 21, with an 18-game slate now on deck for Ohio State women’s basketball this season that is hoping to return to the Elite Eight.
The Buckeyes will begin Big Ten play at home against Penn State on Dec. 10 before taking a short break from conference play and then returning to play at Michigan on Dec. 30. Ohio State will then travel to Northwestern on Jan. 5 before hosting Rutgers on Jan. 11 and Michigan State on Jan. 14.
Ohio State will then face a significant road challenge at Maryland on Jan. 17 before hosting another of the conference’s top contenders on Jan. 17, welcoming Iowa to Value City Arena. The Buckeyes will play at Illinois on Jan. 25 and Purdue on Jan. 28 before hosting Wisconsin on Feb. 1 and Indiana on Feb. 4.
The Buckeyes will then play at Minnesota on Feb. 8 and at Michigan State on Feb. 11 before returning home to face Nebraska on Feb. 14. After a road contest at Penn State on Feb. 22, the Buckeyes will run the gauntlet to close the season, hosting Maryland on Feb. 25 and Michigan on Feb. 28 before closing the season out at Iowa on March 3.
The team’s non-conference schedule has yet to be formally announced, with the only games of note thus far include a neutral-site contest against USC on Nov. 6 in Las Vegas, the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Championship (Nov. 20 vs. East Carolina, Nov. 22 vs. Oklahoma State) and at Tennessee on Dec. 3.
