Brice Sensabaugh Invited To 2023 NBA Combine
The NBA announced on Tuesday that Ohio State forward Brice Sensabaugh was one of 78 players to receive an invite to the 2023 NBA Draft Combine, which will take place in Chicago from May 15-21.
This will offer a chance for Sensabaugh to receive feedback from NBA teams ahead of the May 31, which is the deadline for potential draftees to return to school if they so choose. Sensabaugh entered his name into the draft in March but maintained his collegiate eligibility in case he decided to return, but it’s likely he will remain in the draft with most analysts viewing him as a first-round selection.
His opportunity to go one-and-done at Ohio State came after a freshman season in which led the Buckeyes with 16.3 points per game on 48.2 percent shooting, including 40.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc. He finished with at least 20 points in 11 games, including a career-high 27 points on 10-of-12 shooting in a 93-77 win over Iowa on Jan. 21.
If he remains in the draft, he’ll be the second one-and-done player in as many years for Ohio State, joining Malaki Branham who was drafted last year after just one season with the Buckeyes.
