Buckeyes Release New Gray Alternate Uniforms
Ohio State unveiled a new all-gray alternate uniform on Friday that is set to be worn for the teamβs primetime matchup against Michigan State on Nov. 11.
This marks the fifth time in eight seasons in which the Buckeyes will don alternate threads. The team wore all-black uniforms in 2022, 2019, 2018, and 2015 against Wisconsin, Michigan State, Nebraska, and Penn State, respectively, while they played in all-red uniforms in 2021 against the Nittany Lions.
The new Buckeye alternates caused a stir amongst the fan base throughout the week, as the team teased the all-gray combination on multiple social media platforms.Β The excitement even trickled down to the coaching staff, including offensive program assistant Devin Jordan.
Ohio State’s Nov. 11 matchup with the Spartans will kick off at Ohio Stadium at 7:30 p.m., airing on NBC.
