According to a report from The Columbus Dispatch’ Adam Hardy, Carmen’s Crew is returning to The Basketball Tournament this summer and will feature a younger roster with players from the Chris Holtmann era of Ohio State men’s basketball.
The roster is set to include William Buford, C.J. Jackson, Keyshawn Woods, Andre and Kaleb Wesson, Trevor Thompson and Kyle Young, who is set to make his debut in The Basketball Tournament. Young played at Ohio State from 2018-22, averaging 6.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 135 games with the Buckeyes.
The roster is also expected to feature Javon Bess, Malik Dime, Jalen Tate and Scott Thomas, and will be coached by Jared Sullinger, with Leon Rogers as an assistant coach.
Carmen’s Crew, who last took the court in 2021 as Scarlet & Gray and fell in the regional finals, will play in the Dayton region from July 26-21.
