According to a report from Eleven Warriors, wide receiver Carnell Tate will remain at Ohio State for the 2025 season, despite rumors that he was considering entering the transfer portal and was being offered more than $1 million to leave Columbus.
Both Jeremiah Smith — who was reported to have been offered $4.5 million to leave Ohio State — and Tate seemed to confirm on Twitter that they will remain with the Buckeyes for next season.
Tate projects to be the No. 2 receiver in the Buckeyes offense with Smith returning, but even behind Smith and Emeka Egbuka this year, he was able to accumulate 52 catches for 733 yards and four touchdowns.
