Hardman is listed as a three-star on 247Sports, and chose the Buckeyes over offers from Cincinnati, Ohio and Xavier. He is listed at 6-3 and 160 pounds.
Where Hardman shines is in his three-point shooting, where he 38.5 percent from in the 2020 season, according to the Greater Miami Conference website. Hardman also shot 45.9 percent from the field and 95.7 percent from the free-throw line on the way to averaging 12.1 points per game.
The Buckeyes, along with Cincinnati, both offered Hardman on May 12 just for the Princeton guard to choose Ohio State a day later.
This is Ohio State’s first commitment in the 2022 class. The Buckeyes hold two commitments apiece in 2020 and 2021. The 2021 class consists of Willoughby (Ohio) Andrews Osborne Academy four-star guard Meechie Johnson and Convoy (Ohio) Crestview three-star forward Kalen Etzler, the two of which combine for the sixth-best class in the nation.
