Ohio State will host its spring game on Saturday as the first-ever televised version which will be broadcast on Fox and is scheduled for a 12:05 p.m. kickoff time. Ohio State has released some details on what the game will look like.
The first three quarters of the game will be 12-15 minutes long with the play clock stoppage in effect and the fourth quarter will be 10 minutes long with a running clock. Halftime will last just 10 minutes.
The game will be played in its usual Scarlet vs Gray format and will likely be the Ohio State defense vs. the Ohio State offense in terms of scoring. The offense will score in the traditional way while the defense can score points by getting a takeaway touchdown (six points), a takeaway (three points), a three-and-out (three points), sacking the quarterback (two points) and forcing a punt (one point).
