How He Did In High School: West and his St. Joesph’s Prep team have a 10-2 record this season and are set to play in the 2024 PIAA Championship on Dec. 7 against Central Catholic. West’s play over this season and over the offseason was enough to have Ohio State’s new running backs coach Carlos Locklyn on him almost from the moment the coach stepped foot in Columbus.
Where He Fits For 2025: All of Ohio State’s 2025 running backs will have a chance to take on some of the time that is being left behind by Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson likely heading to the NFL, but they will have to show enough to earn time with James Peoples and Sam Williams-Dixon, who have both now been in Columbus for a year.
