Five-Star 2027 Quarterback Brady Edmunds Commits To Ohio State
Ohio State earned another commitment in the 2027 class on Monday when Huntington Beach, Calif., five-star quarterback Brady Edmunds (6-5, 215) pledged his services to the Buckeyes.
Edmunds has long been favored to land in Columbus and had said that he wanted to commit before the end of the season, choosing the Buckeyes over Penn State, Michigan and Texas, the other three schools in his top four.
He is the second commitment in the 2027 class for OSU already, and the second five-star, joining Huber Heights (Ohio) five-star wide receiver Jamier Brown (5-11, 170) who committed to Ohio State in November.
Edmunds, the No. 10 player in the country in his class and the No. 2 quarterback, originally got his scholarship offer from Ryan Day and Chip Kelly at a recruiting camp over the summer this year.
Now the Buckeyes have a 2027 quarterback before they have one in the 2026 recruiting class, but with Julian Sayin and Air Noland in the 2024 class and Bellefontaine, Ohio, five-star Tavien St. Clair (6-4, 225) in the 2025 class ready to sign on Wednesday, Ohio State’s quarterback room seems to be in good hands in the future.
