Former associate athletic director and general manager of football operations Brian Voltolini did not have his contract renewed by Ohio State, the Lantern reported on March 27.
Voltolini first joined Ohio State in 2012 as the Buckeyes’ director of operations under former head coach Urban Meyer, after making stops at Bowling Green, Utah and Florida with him. In 2018, Voltolini was promoted to associate athletic director of football operations.
According to his bio on Ohio State’s website, Voltolini’s responsibilities included budget planning/tracking, game day tasks, team charters and hotel selections among other logistics in the program.
Voltolini’s departure from the program leaves Ohio State with just two members of the Urban Meyer era left on the staff, including strength and conditioning coach Mickey Marotti and general manager of player personnel Mark Pantoni.
