Ohio State gained its first commitment out of the transfer portal on Tuesday when former Boston College guard T’Yana Todd pledged to the Buckeyes.

Todd, who made 72 starts over three seasons with the Eagles, was Boston College’s leading-scorer in 2024-25, averaging 13.8 points on 43.3 percent shooting from the field while grabbing 2.6 rebounds and dishing out 1.7 assists per game.

Todd was at her best in 2024-25 from beyond the three-point line, where she shot 45.9 percent, which was the fourth-best mark in the nation.

The native of Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, may have had her best season in 2024-25, but she averaged at least 10 points per game in each of her first three collegiate seasons.

Standing at 6-0, Todd has the size to play alongside guards like Jaloni Cambridge and Chance Gray. Todd has one year of eligibility remaining.
