Highlights: Ohio State Takes Care Of Michigan State
It may have been the first moderately close game of the season for the now 6-0 Buckeyes, but that doesn’t mean that Ohio State’s 34-10 win over Michigan State was without highlights. Led by a massive game from JK Dobbins and a masterful performance by the silver bullets, Ohio State still gave the home crowd plenty to cheer, and plenty to reflect on in this week’s highlights recap.
While the offense struggled early, the defense showed no such sluggishness, opening the game with back to back forced fumbles.

While Ohio State was only able to get a field goal off of those turnovers, the Buckeye offense caught fire in the second quarter. The first of 24 second quarter points came on a beautiful play to Binjimen Victor from Justin Fields.

The Buckeyes capped the half with a field goal to take a 27-10 lead. After an uneventful start to the third quarter, it was once again the defense making plays, first with Jashon Cornell in the backfield.

With the game firmly in hand, the defense was still far from done. Jordan Fuller made what would have been the play of the day if it wasn’t for a penalty on Baron Browning, snatching an interception and returning it 86 yards for a touchdown.

With just a few minutes to play, Shaun Wade put a bow on the win, sacking Brian Lewerke to force yet another punt.
