Ohio State’s coaches have learned their positions for games for the upcoming season, as defensive coordinator Jim Knowles, quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis and tight ends coach Keenan Bailey will be the only coaches up in the both.
This means that head coach Ryan Day will be joined on the field by running backs Tony Alford, safeties coach Perry Eliano, special teams coordinator Parker Fleming, offensive line coach Justin Frye, defensive line coach Larry Johnson, offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Brian Hartline and cornerbacks coach Tim Walton.
This will be a change for Ohio State’s offense, which previously had offensive coordinator/tight ends coach Kevin Wilson in the booth during his time with the Buckeyes, but Hartline will now look to coordinate the offense from the field.
Knowles, Dennis and Bailey will also be joined in the booth by offensive line graduate assistant Mike Sollenne, who is entering his second season with the program.
