Ohio State will likely not face off against All-American cornerback Will Johnson when it takes on Michigan on Saturday, according to multiple reports.
Johnson has been dealing with a toe injury since Michigan’s 21-7 loss to Illinois on Oct. 19 and hasn’t played in a game since. Johnson made one of the biggest plays in Michigan’s 30-24 win over Ohio State in 2023 when he intercepted a pass from Kyle McCord in the first quarter.
Johnson was named to the first-team All-Big Ten team and a first-team All-American after the 2023 season. In six games played this year, he was off to a great start and recorded two interceptions and 14 total tackles.
Aamir Hall and Zeke Berry started for the Wolverines at cornerback in their 50-6 win over Northwestern on Nov. 23, and will likely be on the field against Ohio State as well.
Michigan’s tight end, Colston Loveland, is also questionable for the game against the Buckeyes tomorrow after he left last week’s game with a shoulder injury, although it seems likely he will be able to suit up.
