As Ohio State prepares to take on Tennessee in the first round of the College Football Playoff on Dec. 21, the football schedule for the 2025 season has been released.
After three nonconference games – the first of which is a home game against Texas on Aug. 30 – the Buckeyes have their first of two off weeks.
There will be five road games, all against Big Ten competition, compared to the four they had this season. The first time on the road is Sept. 27 after the off week when Ohio State heads to Seattle to take on Washington for the first time as conference foes.
They will also be on the road against Illinois on Oct. 11, Wisconsin on Oct. 18, Purdue on Nov. 8 and Michigan on Nov. 29.
