Ohio State Announces Themes For Upcoming Football Season
Ohio State announced on Wednesday the theme for every home game for the upcoming football season, which features six games at Ohio Stadium.
On Sept. 9 against Youngstown State – which will kick off Ohio State’s home slate at noon – the Buckeyes will be holding Alumni Band and Faculty & Staff Appreciation. The following week against Western Kentucky, set for a 4 p.m. kickoff, will be Scarlet & Gray and Buckeyes Care.
After a couple of weeks away from Ohio Stadium, the Buckeyes will return on Oct. 7 against Maryland for Homecoming and Hall of Fame. That week’s game will kickoff at either noon, 3:30 p.m. or 4 p.m.
Ohio State’s biggest themed game, though, will be on Oct. 21 against Penn State, with the Buckeyes looking to Scarlet the ‘Shoe, encouraging fans to wear scarlet-colored gear to the game. That game not have a kickoff time set.
The Buckeyes’ final two home games will be against Michigan State on Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m., with Military Appreciation as the theme for that contest, and Minnesota on Nov. 18, which will be Senior Day.
