A pair of Ohio State 2021 commits from Philadelphia St. Joseph’s – four-star wide receiver Marvin Harrison and five-star quarterback Kyle McCord – each were a major part in their high school’s third consecutive state title, a 62-13 victory over Central York.

McCord completed 21 of 28 passes for 336 yards and four touchdowns, while Harrison continued to be his top target, hauling in eight catches for 156 yards and a pair of scores, including a 45-yard connection between the duo to put St. Joseph’s up 24-0.

The numbers brought McCord’s career numbers to 6,887 yards through the air and 88 passing touchdowns, both of which are records in the city of Philadelphia. Harrison finished his time on the Hawks with 2,624 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns, both of which are also city records.

Both Harrison and McCord have been committed to the Buckeyes since Nov. 30, 2019 when Harrison joined his quarterback, who had been with Ohio State verbally since April 30, 2019.

Harrison is currently ranked as the No. 16 wide receiver and No. 104 overall, while McCord is No. 22 overall and the third-best pro-style quarterback in the 2021 class.
