Ohio State Could Make NFL Draft History With 3 1st-Round Picks
The 2019 NFL Draft kicks off this evening from Nashville, and former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins and defensive end Nick Bosa are certain to hear their names called in the first round.
If one additional Buckeye is taken among the first 32 selections — perhaps H-Back Parris Campbell, wide receiver Terry McLaurin or defensive tackle Dre’Mont Jones — the program will have the most first-round draft picks all-time.
Tonight! @OhioStateFB seeks No. 1 status in 1st-round NFL Draft Picks all-time.
Most 1st-Round NFL Draft Picks
1. USC – 81
2. Ohio State – 79

USC currently sits atop the leaderboard with 81 first-round draft picks, but Ohio State trails by just two (79) entering this year’s draft. Barring any unforeseen reaches, the Trojans are unlikely to have a player drafted in the first two rounds.
Coverage of the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft will begin a 8 p.m. on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network, and continues Friday from 7-11:30 p.m. (Rounds 2-3) and Saturday from noon-7 p.m. (Rounds 4-7).
In addition to those mentioned above, former Ohio State running back Mike Weber; wide receiver Johnnie Dixon; center Michael Jordan; offensive guards Demetrius Knox and Malcolm Pridgeon; offensive tackle Isaiah Prince and cornerback Kendall Sheffield also hope to find new teams this weekend.
