Ohio State Falls To No. 6 In College Football Playoff Rankings After Loss To Michigan

Ohio State saw a drop in the College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday, falling to No. 6 after suffering a loss to No. 2 Michigan this past weekend.

Georgia remains at the top of the rankings, followed by the Wolverines, No. 3 Washington and No. 4 Florida State, with all able to secure a berth to the College Football Playoff with a win this weekend. No. 5 Oregon and the Buckeyes remain just outside the top four.

Remaining outside of the mix at No. 7 is Texas, which could secure a spot in the playoff if it wins in the Big 12 Championship Game and some other results fall the Longhorns’ way, and the same is true for No. 8 Alabama, which faces the Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game. No. 9 Missouri and No. 10 Penn State round out the top 10.
