The move doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as Henderson will be one of quite a few future Buckeyes to make the trip to San Antonio, including his fellow halfback commit Evan Pryor. Pryor teased the partnership prior to Henderson’s announcement.
Buckeye nation. You’ll be able to see the duo a little early …😏 @TreveyonH15

The two halfbacks will likely land on the East team.
Pryor, linebacker Reid Carrico, offensive lineman Donovan Jackson and quarterback Kyle McCord have all already committed to the showcase, while cornerback commit Jakaillin Johnson picked up an invitation earlier in the week.

Henderson is the second-highest ranked recruit in Ohio State’s 2021 class, checking in only behind defensive end Jack Sawyer. Henderson is considered the No. 18 prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings, the No. 1 running back, and the No. 3 player from Virginia. He committed to Ohio State on March 27, over in-state stalwart Virginia Tech.
