Ohio State Football Newcomers Receive Uniform Numbers
Ohio State’s updated its online roster on Thursday evening, and it shows uniform numbers for the incoming batch of freshmen and other newcomers.
The following players were part of the Buckeyes’ Dynasty ‘19 recruiting class — but didn’t enroll in classes until last month — or joined the program this summer as a transfer or walk-on player:
- WR Jameson Williams – No. 6
- QB Gunnar Hoak – No. 12
- QB Jagger LaRoe – No. 16
- LB Cade Stover – No. 16
- QB J.P. Andrade – No. 18
- RB Steele Chambers – No. 22
- LB Craig Young – No. 37
- DB Bryson Shaw – No. 38
- LB Tommy Eichenberg – No. 41
- OL Enokk Vimahi – No. 66
- OL Jonah Jackson – No. 73
- OL Harry Miller – No. 77
- OL Dawand Jones – No. 79
- TE Cormontae Hamilton – No. 83
- DT Jaden McKenzie – No. 90
- P Michael O’Shaughnessy – No. 96
Freshman offensive lineman Enokk Vimahi and defensive back Bryson Shaw are not yet listed, but that’ll certainly change by the time camp rolls around later this month.
Several players switched numbers from last season, as well. That includes:
- WR Kamryn Babb – No. 7 (from No. 17)
- DE Javontae Jean-Baptiste – No. 8 (No. 38)
- WR Chris Olave – No. 17 (No. 19)
- K Dominic DiMaccio – No. 28 (No. 92)
- DT Antwuan Jackson – No. 52 (No. 90)
- OL Matthew Jones – No. 55 (No. 54)
- OL Nicholas Petit-Frere – No. 78 (No. 77)
Ohio State opens the 2019 season against Florida Atlantic on Aug. 31. Kickoff is set for noon on FOX.
