Of the Ohio State players who declared for the NFL draft after the national championship, 15 of them have been invited to the NFL scouting combine.
Representing the Buckeyes in the Indianapolis from Feb. 24 to March 3 will be quarterback Will Howard, running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, offensive linemen Donovan Jackson, Seth McLaughlin and Josh Simmons, defensive linemen Ty Hamilton and Tyleik Williams, edge rushers Jack Sawyer and JT Tuimoloau, linebacker Cody Simon, cornerbacks Denzel Burke and Jordan Hancock and safety Lathan Ransom.
Of the Buckeyes who left for the NFL draft, only right tackle Josh Fryar and tight end Gee Scott Jr. didn’t receive an invite.
Ohio State had the most players invited of any school, with Texas (14), Georgia (14) and Oregon (13) close behind.
The record for most players drafted in one year is 15 (Georgia in the 2022 NFL draft), so if each of the Buckeyes’ invitees are selected in this year’s event, they will tie the record.
