Ohio State Hires Morgan Phillips To Be Director Of Recruiting And Special Events
Ohio State has found a new director of recruiting and special events, hiring Morgan Phillips away from LSU where she was the recruiting operations coordinator.
She replaces Erin Dunston, who left for Michigan to become the director of football operations in June after three years with Ohio State.
Phillips spent just one year with LSU in which they brought in the seventh-ranked class in the 2024 cycle, signing one five-star and four players in the top 100. Currently, LSU has the third-ranked recruiting class in the 2025 cycle behind just Ohio State (first) and Alabama (second), but the Tigers have already landed commitments from three five-star recruits, including the top player in the country in Belleville, Mich., five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood (6-4, 205).
Now Phillips will look to help the Buckeyes keep their spot as the top class for 2025 recruiting.
