Ohio State-Indiana To Kick Off At Noon On FOX

Ohio State’s game against Indiana in Week 13 will be at noon and will be televised on FOX.

It’s be the Buckeyes fifth game this season that is set for the “Big Noon Kickoff” slot as Ohio State could be looking at its third top-five matchup of the season when the Hoosiers come to Ohio Stadium. It will play a sixth when Michigan is in town the week after.

It will also be the fifth straight week the Buckeyes are playing at noon after the game against Northwestern on Nov. 16 on Big Ten Network.

This matchup will be the 98th meeting all-time between the two programs with Ohio State holding an 80-12-5 advantage, but this year’s Indiana team is a different story than in the past that have allowed OSU to win 29 straight against the Hoosiers.

Before the release of the College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday, the Hoosiers were ranked No. 5 in the country in the AP Poll and will likely hold a similar spot when they are released.

The last time the two teams played was the season opener of 2023 when Kyle McCord’s 239 yards and a great Scarlet and Gray defensive performance was enough to beat the Hoosiers 23-3. Indiana’s last win in the series came on Oct. 10, 1987 when, in the pouring rain, it beat No. 9 Ohio State 31-10 in Columbus thanks to 405 yards on offense and holding the Buckeyes to just 10 rushing yards in the second half.

The matchup this season will have a major impact on the Big Ten Championship that will be in Indianapolis two weeks after the game, with the winner likely facing off against Oregon in the title game barring an upset loss in the final week of the regular season.
