Ohio State, fresh off a 74-69 win over then-No. 10 Indiana on Sunday, is now up to No. 5 in the AP Top 25 released on Monday. It was the second top-10 win for the Buckeyes in as many weeks following a 100-92 win over Iowa on Jan. 21.

The Buckeyes moved up three spots, trailing only No. 4 Colorado, No. 3 NC State, No. 2 Iowa and No. 1 South Carolina, which holds all 35 first-place votes. The Hoosiers fell to No. 14 after their loss to Ohio State and are the only other Big Ten team in the rankings, though future conference members UCLA and USC are Nos. 9 and 10, respectively.

Ohio State is on a nine-game winning streak and holds a 19-3 overall record and a 10-1 record in conference play. This is the Buckeyes’ highest ranking since rising to No. 2 last season following the team’s 19-0 start, the best in program history.

The Buckeyes will look to extend their winning streak on Thursday, set to visit Minnesota for a 9 p.m. tip.
