Ohio State Kicker Parker Lewis Reportedly Entered Transfer Portal

Ohio State senior kicker Parker Lewis will enter the transfer portal according to On3, with one season of eligibility remaining.

Lewis came to Ohio State as a transfer from USC in 2022, but didn’t get onto the field much, only playing in one game and kicking off twice for two touchbacks when the Buckeyes beat Western Kentucky 63-10.

He came into the season in a battle for the kicking position with Jayden Fielding but didn’t earn the spot. Fielding was 15 of 18 on field goals with a long of 47 yards. He was also 49 of 50 on extra points, which was good enough to keep the spot for the season over Lewis.

Fielding will be a junior next year, so Ohio State will still have their kicker despite Lewis now heading to another school over the offseason.
