After a pair of wins against Southeast Missouri State and then-No. 6 Kentucky, Ohio State men’s basketball jumped from No. 5 to No. 2 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 Poll.
The Buckeyes are now 11-1 on the season, and are facing off against No. 22 West Virginia this Saturday in Cleveland.
After the 71-65 defeat against Ohio State, the Wildcats fell to No. 19 in the poll.
With wins over Kentucky, No. 10 Villanova and No. 20 Penn State, Ohio State has three wins against current top 25 teams.
Other Big Ten teams in the AP poll are No. 11 Michigan, No. 13 Maryland, No. 14 Michigan State, the Nittany Lions and No. 25 Iowa.
