Ohio State Names Players Of The Game For 38-3 Win Over Michigan State
Ohio State has named the team’s players of the game following the Buckeyes’ dominant 38-3 win over Michigan State on Saturday.
On offense, the honors went to quarterback Kyle McCord and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. McCord threw for a career-high 335 yards and tied a career high with three touchdown passes, while Harrison collected seven receptions for 149 yards and two touchdowns, as well as his first career rushing score.
On defense, the honor went to cornerback Davison Igbinosun, who led the Buckeyes with five tackles and added two pass breakups. For the season, Igbinosun 45 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss, with five pass breakups and two recovered fumbles.
Special teams honors went to Jayden Ballard and Jermaine Mathews Jr. Ballard had an 11-yard punt return while Mathews collected a 2-yard tackle for loss on a punt in the second quarter.
