Ohio State has named tight end Cade Stover, defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau and cornerback Lorenzo Styles Jr. as the team’s Players of the Game for the program’s 23-3 win over Indiana on Saturday.
Stover was named Player of the Game on offense after totaling five receptions for a career-high 98 yards, including a 49-yard reception that helped get Ohio State’s offense in a rhythm en route to the win over the Hoosiers.
Tuimoloau took the honors for the defense, finishing with four tackles (half for a loss) and four quarterback hurries, helping limit Indiana to just 82 passing yards for the contest. Tuimoloau also helped the defense generate six total tackles for loss for 17 yards.
The Player of the Game on special teams was Styles, who made his debut for Ohio State against the Hoosiers. While he will eventually play at cornerback for the Buckeyes, Styles will cut his teeth in the mean time on special teams.
