Ohio State Offensive Lineman Miles Walker Enters Transfer Portal
Ohio State redshirt freshman offensive lineman Miles Walker has entered the transfer portal after his second season in Columbus.
In the Buckeyes 2023 recruiting class, Walker was ranked the No. 501 player in the country as a three-star offensive tackle, and even though there will be multiple openings on the line next season, he has decided to take his chances elsewhere after not appearing in any games for the Buckeyes in his two years with the team.
Walker was the only offensive tackle the Buckeyes signed in the 2023 recruiting class, but even with the position in question this year when both Josh Simmons and Zen Michalski went down with injuries, Walker wasn’t a candidate to step up and take that spot.
He will have three years of eligibility remaining wherever he lands.
He is the fifth Buckeye to enter the portal this offseason, following linebacker Gabe Powers, wide receivers Jayden Ballard and Kojo Antwi, and quarterback Devin Brown – who will remain with the team throughout the playoffs.
