After last Thursday’s skills/big man camp, Ohio State’s June slate continued to roll Wednesday and Thursday at Ohio State with high school players from all across the country in Columbus for the midweek fundamental event.
The two-day camp at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and Ohio Stadium featured prospects on the Buckeyes’ recruiting radar flocking to central Ohio for a chance to compete and work under the guidance of OSU’s coaching staff, and some performances resulted in offers.
Below is an overview by BSB of each high school football player from the 2021 class to leave the midweek camp with as a new target.
Connor Colby
Cedar Rapids (Iowa) John F. Kennedy four-star offensive tackle Connor Colby was the first camper to report an offer Wednesday.
The performance of the 6-5, 270-pounder — 247Sports’ No. 214 overall prospect, No. 25 offensive tackle and No. 2 player in Iowa for 2021 — led to the offer from Ohio State, which marks his sixth.
He previously added Iowa State (Feb. 9), Iowa (Feb. 16), Nebraska (March 30), Minnesota (April 26) and Virginia Tech (May 9). Michigan entered the mix Wednesday as well.

From the same high school as 2020 four-star defensive back commitment Lejond Cavazos (6-1, 190), three-star tight end Christian Burkhalter hauled in an Ohio State offer Wednesday.
The 6-5, 215-pounder from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy — 247Sports’ No. 354 overall prospect, No. 12 tight end and No. 53 player in Florida for 2021 — played at Spanish Fort, Ala., as a sophomore in 2018.
