Ohio State Picks Up Commitment From In-State OL Marc Nave Jr.
Ohio State added a commitment on Wednesday from Toledo Central Catholic three-star offensive lineman Marc Nave Jr. (6-5, 315), who becomes the fourth member of the Buckeyes’ 2024 recruiting class.
Nave is the No. 520 overall prospect and No. 28 interior lineman in the class and held additional offers Auburn, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville and Purdue, among others.
He was offered by Ohio State on Jan. 31 – one he considered a dream offer, having grown up as an Ohio State fan – and his commitment comes after his attendance at the Buckeyes’ first spring practice on Tuesday. He will be back at Ohio State – now as a committed prospect – on March 25.
His is the fourth commitment for Ohio State’s class, joining Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep five-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith (6-3, 185), New Palestine, Ind., four-star offensive lineman Ian Moore (6-5, 295) and Sunbury (Ohio) Big Walnut four-star safety Garrett Stover (6-0, 195).
