After a 38-3 beatdown of Michigan State, the Buckeyes remain at No. 3 in the AP Top 25 Coaches Poll despite coming in at the top of the College Football Playoff Rankings for the second straight week.

The win over the Spartans was decided early on when Ohio State scored 35 of its points in the first half and rested as much as it could in the second half since it’s so deep into the season.

The top eight ranks went unchanged with No. 1 Georgia and No. 2 Michigan still ahead of the Buckeyes, and behind them were No. 4 Florida State, No. 5 Washington, No. 6 Oregon, No. 7 Texas and No. 8 Alabama.

Each of Ohio State, Michigan and Florida State lost two first-place votes, and Georgia gained five after beating No. 3 Ole Miss 52-17.

After No. 11 Missouri beat Tennessee, it jumped up five spots from 16th, the biggest jump in the polls this week, with the Volunteers dropping seven spots to No. 21. No. 24 Oklahoma State had the biggest fall, dropping nine spots after losing by 42 points to unranked UCF.
