Ohio State remained at No. 4 in the AP top 25 after its off week although there was some movement in the top of the rankings.
Georgia beat then No. 1 Texas on Saturday, boosting the Bulldogs up to No. 2 in the country, while the undefeated Oregon Ducks took over the No. 1 spot in their first season in the Big Ten, beating Purdue 35-0 on Friday.
Penn State is the other team that is still above the Buckeyes in the poll, coming in at No. 3. The rest of the top 10 is No. 5 Texas, No. 6 Miami, No. 7 Tennessee, No. 8 LSU, No. 9 Clemson and No. 10 Iowa State.
Indiana was able to remain undefeated and jumped three spots to No. 13, while Illinois beat Michigan 21-7 and jumped two spots o No. 20, dropping the Wolverines out of the top 25 for the first time since September 2021.
The Volunteers were the biggest riser in the poll, moving up four spots from No. 11 after beating Alabama. The Crimson Tide now have two losses this season and were the biggest faller in the poll, dropping eight spots to No. 15.
Vanderbilt is the only newcomer in the poll at No. 25, just two weeks removed from upsetting the Crimson Tide 40-35.
