Ohio State will be getting a break from Noon kickoffs next week, as after two straight Noon tilts against Wisconsin and Maryland will not turn into five straight, with Penn State and Michigan both scheduled for Noon, because the Nov. 16 matchup with Rutgers will be played at 3:30. The schedule was announced on Nov. 9, during Ohio State’s 73-14 win over Maryland., per Ohio State sports information director Jerry Emig.
This just in about four hours ago: the @OhioStateFB game Nov. 16 at Rutgers will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and it will be televised on @BigTenNetwork. 3:30. BTN. Piscataway. Be there.

This will be Ohio State’s second game of the year on Big Ten Network, with the first also coming at 3:30, back on Sept. 21 in a 76-5 win over Miami (Ohio). The Buckeyes have spent much of the year on Fox, playing FAU, Indiana, Wisconsin and Maryland in the Big Noon Kickoff slot, and have at least one more game against Penn State scheduled to take place in the new biggest time of the day for Fox. The battle with Michigan will almost certainly slide in there as well.
The Buckeyes are 1-0 in 3:30 games on the season, 5-0 at Noon and 3-0 in night games. Rutgers enters the game at 2-7, 0-6 in Big Ten play.
