Ohio State Sends Out Three Offers Following Thursday’s Recruiting Camp
Ohio State held a one-day recruiting camp on Thursday, and a pair of up-and-coming cornerbacks as well as a running back earned offers after camping at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
First up was Indianapolis Ben Davis four-star Mark Zackery IV (6-0, 164), a 2025 prospect. He is the No. 259 overall prospect and No. 28 cornerback in his class, and was offered after an impressive performance at Ohio State’s camp.
Zackery – who hails from the same school as Ohio State offensive tackle Dawand Jones – referred to Ohio State as his “dream school,” and it now highlights an offer list that includes Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and USC, among others.
Another 2025 prospect to earn an offer was Tampa (Fla.) Plant four-star running back Waltez Clark (6-2, 194). He is the No. 129 overall prospect and No. 10 running back in the class.
He holds additional offers from Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Iowa, Notre Dame, South Carolina and USC, among others. He is the 11th running back offered by Ohio State in the class.
The final offer of the day went out to Akron Archbishop Hoban cornerback Elbert Hill (5-10, 150), who is a 2026 prospect. He holds additional offers from Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Pittsburgh and West Virginia. He is just the second cornerback offered by Ohio State in 2026, along with Zech Fort (5-10, 175) of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy.
