Ohio State sophomore center Aaron Bradshaw is not currently participating in team activities for a reason that cannot be shared due to federal privacy laws, the university confirmed in a statement on Friday night.
“Aaron Bradshaw is not currently participating in team activities,” the statement read. “The university is following its established process. Due to federal privacy laws, we cannot share further information at this time.”
Bradshaw, who transferred from Ohio State from Kentucky this offseason, had started the first four games of the season for the Buckeyes, averaging 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds on 11-of-29 shooting. He had just six points and three rebounds in Ohio State’s 80-30 win over Evansville on Tuesday.
It is currently unclear how long Bradshaw will be out for or why he is no longer participating in team activities.
Bradshaw is not the only Buckeye who is inactive for the Buckeyes’ home game against Campbell on Friday night. Fellow five-star sophomore transfer forward Sean Stewart is also inactive for an undisclosed reason. Stewart went down with an apparent head injury after taking a hard foul against Evansville and is with the team during warmups in street clothes.
Likely filling in place for Bradshaw and Stewart will be sophomore forward Devin Royal, who is coming off a career-high 20 point, 12-rebound performance, with sophomore center Austin Parks and redshirt junior forward Kalen Etzler also likely to see added time.
