Ohio State Sticks At No. 3 In AP Top 25 Following 41-7 Win At Purdue
The Buckeyes held steady in this week’s AP Top 25 released on Sunday, remaining at No. 3 after the team’s 41-7 win at Purdue on Saturday.
Ohio State trails No. 2 Michigan and No. 1 Georgia, with the Bulldogs retaining the majority of first-place votes with 43. Also receiving first-place votes was Michigan (16), Ohio State (one), No. 4 Florida State (one) and No. 5 Washington (two).
Rounding out the top 10 was No. 6 Oklahoma, No. 7 Penn State, No. 8 Texas, No. 9 Oregon and No. 10 North Carolina, setting up a top-10 matchup between Ohio State and Penn State on Saturday. Also representing the Big Ten in the poll was No. 24 Iowa.
The biggest jump in the poll belonged to No. 15 Notre Dame, which blew out now-No. 18 USC 48-20, with the Trojans falling down from No. 10, the biggest fall in the poll.
