When Ohio State heads to Eugene, Ore., in Week 7 of the 2024 season, they will be headed there for what is rumored to be a primetime game with Oregon.
When the Buckeyes and the Ducks match up for their first game against each other in the same conference, it will reportedly be on NBC at 7:30 p.m., according to Joel Klatt, who revealed that information during an appearance on The Herd on Tuesday.
The kickoff time has not been officially announced by either team, or NBC to this point.
Ohio State is 9-1 all-time against Oregon, with its only loss coming in the 2021 season when the Ducks beat them in Ohio Stadium 35-28.
To this point, only three other game times have been revealed. Ohio State opens up the season against Akron at 3:30 p.m. on CBS at Ohio Stadium, and the following week will match up against Western Michigan at 7:30 p.m. on Big Ten Network, so the Buckeyes will have at least two night games this year. This year’s version of “The Game,” which will be at home for Ohio State, has also been announced to have a gametime of noon and will be televised on Fox as usual.
