Former Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is among 13 prospects invited to attend the 2024 NFL Draft, scheduled for April 25-27 in Detroit.
Harrison is expected to go in the top five, and will likely be the first non-quarterback taken in the draft. If he goes within the top six, it will make him the highest-drafted receiver in program history, surpassing Terry Glenn’s selection at No. 7 overall in 1996.
It’s the third consecutive year that Ohio State will have physical representation at the draft, as C.J. Stroud, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Paris Johnson Jr. were all invited last year, while Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson were in attendance for the prior draft. Harrison’s likely first-round selection will extend Ohio State’s streak to three drafts with a first-round receiver, and nine consecutive drafts with a first-round pick.
Harrison is one of several Buckeyes expecting to hear their names called at the draft, including defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr., linebackerss Steele Chambers and Tommy Eichenberg, tight end Cade Stover and safety Josh Proctor, among others.
