The Big Ten announced on Tuesday the single and double play opponents for each team for the 2025-26 season. Each team will play a 20-game schedule with 10 home games and 10 away games.
Ohio State will play Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan twice next season, once at home and once on the road. The two games against Michigan are most notable because both Jake Diebler and Michigan’s Dusty May have been pushing for the conference to make the rivalry game a protected home-and-home series each season since the two coaches took over for their respective teams last offseason.
Ohio State’s single home games will be against Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, UCLA and USC. The Bruins will come to Columbus for the first time since 1968, while USC will travel to Ohio State for the first time since 1997.
The Buckeyes’ single road games will be against Iowa, Maryland, Michigan State, Northwestern, Rutgers, Washington and Oregon. Ohio State will be making its first ever trip to Eugene, Ore., and will be playing at Washington for just the seventh time in history and first time since 1971.
Dates for each of these games will be announced in early September. Ohio State also announced that its nonconference schedule will be announced later this summer.
