The Ohio State football team – which has 110 players on the roster this fall – moved into its hotel for preseason camp Monday afternoon in preparation for practice No. 4 Tuesday morning. The Buckeyes opened fall camp last Friday under the direction of acting head coach Ryan Day – Urban Meyer is on paid administrative leave pending a university investigation – before practicing twice over the weekend at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
With the first three seasons of fall camp closed to the media, hotel move in day was the first public glimpse of the 2018 Buckeyes this fall. The team will practice a total of 25 times before the season opener on Sept. 1 against Oregon State at Ohio Stadium.
